About this trip

Sonamarg to Naranag across seven alpine jewels.

Walk the most photographed trek in the Western Himalayas. Daily mileage is gentle, scenery is unreal, and our camp team has done it a hundred times. Best season: July – September. We move with ponies, sleep in tents and end the trek with a night at a Srinagar houseboat.

Day 1 — Arrive Srinagar

Srinagar

Transfer from airport. Walk the old city. Houseboat dinner.

Day 2 — Drive to Sonamarg · trek to Nichnai

Sonamarg

Two-hour drive. Begin trek along the Sindh river, climbing into pine forest.

What's the booking process?

Share brief → designer sketches → we refine together → secure with 30% deposit → balance 30 days before travel.

What's included in the price?

Accommodation, daily breakfast, all internal transfers, an English-speaking local guide on most days.

When is the best time to travel?

Most regions have two sweet spots per year. We will advise based on your interests — and how to avoid school-holiday crowds.

Can I travel with children / senior parents?

Yes — we've planned trips for three generations. We'll pace the journey around the slowest leg and adjust the vehicle and stays accordingly.

Visa, insurance, vaccinations?

We flag what you need at enquiry. Visa assistance is included; travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 30 days before travel. Between 30 and 15 days, 30% of the total. Within 15 days, 100% retention. Force majeure is handled case-by-case.

Payment

We accept payments via Razorpay and Cashfree. Full payment is due 30 days before departure. For peak-season bookings, full payment may be required earlier.

Refunds

Refunds are processed as per supplier policies. Service fees are non-refundable. We will always advocate for our travellers in case of supplier disputes.
